“Petanque” play grounds

a French game that combines tactic, intelligence and coordination.
The game is held in a lined ground frame. The players are divided to two groups in the form of one-on-one or pair against a pair and so on.
Every group in a form of pairs or threes gets 6 balls. in the beginning of the game a small wood ball is casted by one of the opening group, which serves as a target, followed by a metal ball casted as a close as possible.
A player of the rival team casts a ball and tries to overcome the first ball by getting by its closeness to the target ball.
If he succeed, the duty of casting is on the first team. If he failed, his group continue to throw its balls until they overcome or they lose all their balls.
each ball that came earlier will be considered as a point.
The game built by several matches and the first group to get 13 points is the winner.

Special activities for the hotel’s guests

“Bicycles of old times”- the hotel provides to the guests’ disposal the old times’ bicycles for borrowing, to travel around the kibbutz. A ride to “the fields road”, we recommend to the more experienced paddlers to ride to the “deciduous” plantations of the kibbutz or to Dan and The Lish rivers.

“workshops for children”- during the weekends we hold workshops, origami, crafts with materials from nature, juggling, giant games, story time and more.
Touring in “the fields road”- every weekend there is a four hours tour to the agricultural fields of Dafna. A mandatory tour for families, in which we learn that “potatoes, carrots and radish do not grow on the shelf of the supermarket.” The tour is guided, in private cars, on dirt roads and includes observations and explanations about the region, the nature and the fields.
